Hi,

Everything looks ok.
As this "feature" does not only happened to you, i will
include a debug log for xdebug.

Can you send me (support at tswebeditor dot tk) an output from
phpinfo() ?

That happened because Apache and your php.exe do not use the
same php.ini file. Apache's php.ini file contains the xdebug
config and php.exe's php.ini does not contain it.

thanks,
thaler.

Message Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

But unfortunately it doesn't work correctly.

In the attached file you can see the result of the watch
windows. The file name seems to be the same in Apache
server and tsWebEditor.
I started the debug via my browser with this command:
http://localhost/exemples/essai_xdbg.php?
XDEBUG_SESSION_START=tswebeditor

The break occured only on the xdebug_break() function. The
first breakpoint is only marked but the script doesn't stop
at this line.

Moreover if I try to launch the script in tsWebEditor (Menu-
>debug->Run) I have the following message in the output
windows:

<br />
<b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function:
xdebug_break() in
<b>C:\xoops\wamp\www\exemplesessai_xdbg.php</b> on line
<b>6</b><br />

I have no idea...

Thanks

You can set breakpoints in the editor and call your php
script via a browser. To start a debug session, you must add
XDEBUG_SESSION_START=something to your query string. e.g.
http://localhost/myfile.php?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=something
You can also set in your php.ini to start always a debug
session.

Your Apache Web Server and tsWebEditor can use different
filenames for the same file. This may a reason why the
breakpoints not work.
Set a breakpoint at a line with PHP code and add the
function xdebug_break. Run the script. Take a look at the
Stack Window and compare the filename with the filename in
the Breakpoints Window.

Or you run your script in tsWebEditor. =>Menu Debug\Run

tsWebEditor and Xdebug problem

Message Hello,

First of all, I discovered tsWebEditor few days ago. It's a
great software and I think I will use it in the future.

But after some tests I have a problem with the debugger
function.
I followed all instructions to install Xdebug and the
phpinfo() is ok.
I can run the sample code in the tsWebEditor's help
documentation (with xdebug_break(); line). So the http
debug mode is ok. But that's all !

When I set a breakpoint on my PHP file, I can see it, but
there is no break on the selected line.
It seems than only the http debug mode works.

Perhaps I don't understand how to use the debugger on this
editor ?...

My configuration is :
- Windows XP SP1a or windows 2000 SP4
- Wampserver (Apache/1.3.33 (Win32), PHP 4.3.11, MySQL
4.1.10a-nt - extension : mysql)
- tsWebeditor 2.2.12.64 (20051231)
- xdbug's dll is php_xdebug-4.3.11-2.0.0beta5.dll

Can you help me ? Thank you
